    Great job thanks for sharing, you make it look possible to make this at home to make a superior and more affordable table than the certiflat table. I know prices fluctuate, but how much do you figure this cost in materials to build your table?

    Looks nice, but how did you plan for dealing with the heat buildup? Compressors produce a lot of heat. Forced air circulation would help. For noise, lining the inside with rockwool would make a big difference. An automatic drain on the compressor would be a good idea. Also, if you don't have one, a refrigerated air dryer will really help your plasma.

  • @stefinstein3739
    @stefinstein3739 28 дней назад

    Great job! Simple. Effective. Love it. I see room for improvement! Overtime the cyclic forces on the frame can cause fatigue failures in the welds. You should disassemble for painting because it would look slick. While the frame is bare you can add some knee braces in the top crossbar like you did in the bottom crossbar then go a step further and add some plates to “box in” the whole sides of all the channels. There isn’t much there in the webs of those channels so adding side plates creates a double box section which is considerably stiffer. Add a custom logo or name it with some lettering with your cnc table! “When it’s Built not Bought, it’s Custom not Cost’em”

      @@RathaSochenda That looked like more that 100lbs of modification material stabilizers along looked 10-15 lbs each. I'm just saying looks like a trailer with an original load capacity at maybe 2000 lbs. Tongue box, stabilizers, wood sides and decking, trailer Jack and wheel chocks looks like about 400-500 lbs reducing load capacity to 1500-1600 lbs.

    Had an idea, but I don't know if it would ever come in to play. Since the fingers are different widths, would maybe making the back guide slide side to side be a worthwhile upgrade? Can't think of a specific instance, but I haven't needed a finger brake yet.

    • @RathaSochenda
      @RathaSochenda 2 месяца назад

      Yeah I thought about that have it slide on linear guide rails. Left to right.

    That's a great idea! I've been leaning toward a Roguefab bender because it can do the vertical orientation, but it's out of my price range at the moment for something I won't use alot. Combining this with the Woodward Fab clone from Amazon might get it in my range.

    One can't install enough locks on a trailer or what is on the trailer. No lock is infallible, so it is better to layer with multiple locks. At least that will slow them down or maybe deter the thief from taking what is yours. It is definitely getting worse out there for people who have no morals.

    Thanks for the upgrades. I have an 8 foot trailer with a single tongue (like your boat trailer) rather than many V types. I have attached a hand crank cable winch to the tongue exactly like your boat trailer. This not only helps with loading, but after loading I use it to hold the tarp down.

      I have a 10’ that is also a single tongue. Looking into the best place to attach a winch( help loading a mower etc. that won’t start). Did you weld it on or can it be bolted down. I can’t weld so I’m hoping to be able to bolt something down. Also did you attach yours to the tongue itself or to the trailer frame?
